New direct service from San-Juan to Martinique with Seaborne Airlines

    Route to operate 4-times a week starting June 1st, 2013


    NEW YORK, NY (May 22, 2013) – Travelling from the U.S. to Martinique will be made easier with the launch of Seaborne Airlines’ new weekly service to the island beginning June 1st.  The new flights will operate as follows:

    “This is a very exciting development and we are pleased that Seaborne Airlines has taken over the San Juan – Fort-de-France route, allowing convenient connections with major US cities and the Caribbean.said Mrs. Karine Roy-Camille, Commissioner of the Martinique Tourism Authority.


    “This new route, thanks to the interline agreement with American Airlines, will also allow more possibilities for Martinique residents to travel to North America. Furthermore, getting to Martinique will be easier for visitors from Puerto Rico.”


    Additional lift to the island of flowers is timed for connections to and from the United States and Canada, with interline connections available via American Airlines.


    To celebrate the launch, Seaborne is offering fares as low as $131 one way for travel. Bookings must be made by June 15th for travel by July 31st, 2013. Flights can be reserved via, Expedia, Travelocity, and Priceline or through local travel agencies. Connecting travel with American Airlines is also available on  In addition, Seaborne Airlines has an inaugural special for travels from June 1st to June 15th, offering customers who buy a ticket one additional complimentary ticket for same-day travel.     Seaborne will use a SAAB 340 aircraft for the new Martinique service, offering the comfort of 34 economy class seats, with in-flight service.
