Training conducted for police
~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts - As part of the Canadian funded Law Enforcement Training Assistance Programme, seventeen (17) members of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force completed a one week intensive course of training in Tourism Security over the period 10-14 November 2008 at the NEMA Conference Centre.
Other security personnel participating in this Security Workshop were drawn from the St Kitts-Nevis Defense Force, Customs Department, Fire & Rescue Services, St Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority, Nevis Air & Sea Ports Authority, Pelican Mall Security, Ross University Security, Diamond Security and the Royal St Kitts Hotel & Casino.
This Security Training was conducted by Len Cross & Associates a Security Consulting team whose four facilitators possess combined experience of over one hundred years in the field of International Security. A range of topics were covered from Bomb Threat Planning & Management to Risk Assessment Methodologies and Crisis Management and Response.
