ARRESTS
Steve Percival of New Road Housing and Brian Kimbel Liburd of Shear Lane were both formally charged for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny which was allegedly committed on 22nd May 2013.
Steve Herbert of West Bourne Street was formally charged for the offences of Disorderly Conduct by making noise, Battery on Police, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction, Carrying abroad an Offensive Weapon and Possession of Cannabis which were allegedly committed on 31st May 2013.
MURDER
The Violent Crime Unit is investigating the shooting death of Sheldon "SWORD" Cannonier of Neverson Street, East which was committed on 2 June 2013.
Initial investigation revealed that about 12:00 pm the deceased was on the outside of a local church at Lime Kiln when he was shot multiple times about his body. The district medical officer visited the scene and pronounced him dead.
