Queens, NY: New York City’s flagship reggae, rhythm and blues summer concert Groovin In The Park is only weeks away. This not-to-be-missed concert featuring some of the biggest names in two popular New York City genres takes place on Sunday, June 30 at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens.
Music lovers in the ti-state region are securing their tickets early this year, and while all the talk is about Toots and the Maytals, Patti Labelle, Tyrese, Genuine and Tank (TGT), Sanchez, Coco Tea, Barrington Levy and Queen Ifrica, this year’s event is offering a whole lot more than the music.

And with thousands of music fans packing the park, popular music CDs as well as DVDs will be available for sale to meet the upcoming July 4 holiday demand.
To further enhance the total Groovin In The Park experience, a super inclusive VIP section with limited space will be available for those who are seeking a first class ride. The area will offer a front row, hassle free vintage point for soaking up the live performances from the headline acts. It will also offer complimentary food and drink for the duration of the concert with catering from the world-class The Door Restaurant in Queens.
