BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A double goal by Tracy Willock helped Delphic Newtown United to remained undefeated in the defence of their title after scoring three unanswered goals against the St. Peter’s Blue Angels in Elvis Star Browne Women's League.
In the game played at the Newtown Playfield, the home team looked the better of the two and got the opening goal with a superb individual move by Wilock in the 25th minute.
Newtown then created a host of opportunities for the remainder of the first half but failed to capitalise on them.
The game’s second goal however came when Newtown was awarded a penalty which was converted by Wilock.
The third goal came when a superb team move was capped off by Acima Eddy’s in the 80th minute.
Delphic Newtown United have now regained the top position in the points standing and are closely followed by the also undefeated Conaree Lady Spartans.
