BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE in St. Maarten are asking for the cooperation of witnesses in relation to the recent shooting death of a St. Kitts-Nevis national, 26-year-old Odelmo Williams.
An online media house from St. Maarten www.thedailyherald.com - in an article dated June 10 -reported that “the Gendarmerie is again seeking help from witnesses to another shooting in French Quarter, this time on Coralita Road”.
It was reported that “the motive for the shooting is not known” and Williams “was shot several times”.
Details as to how people could share information with the police were given.
“The Gendarmerie is appealing to anyone, who has useful information that could help with the investigation, to contact them by calling ‘17’, or (0590) 52.30.13, or by going in person to the Gendarmerie's headquarters in La Savane.”
Williams was reportedly gunned down in the district of French Quarter at approximately 1:00 a.m. on June 8 in the vicinity of Suki Supermarket.
He was from Tabernacle Village in St. Kitts and carried the aliases ‘Marga Man’ and ‘Spraga’.
