BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, June 18th, 2013 (CUOPM) – Several pieces of equipment ranging from Jaws of Life and water pumps to Motorola handsets, photo copiers and scanners will be handed over to the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services.
Republic of China (Taiwan) Resident Ambassador to St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency Miguel Tsao will hand over the equipment during a ceremony on Wednesday morning.
The Ceremony to be chaired by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security, Labour, Justice and Legal Affairs, Mr. Elvis Newton include remarks by Ambassador Tsao; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security, Labour, Justice and Legal Affairs, the Hon. Patrice Nisbett and Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.
The Vote of Thanks will be given by Deputy Chief of the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire Services, Mr. Everette O’Garro.
