CFBC to Hold Retreat to Develop 2014-2019 Strategic Plan

By: CFBC, Press Release

BASSETERRE ST. Kitts, June 19th, 2013  --  The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC), in keeping with its motto, “Always striving for excellence” has launched a holistic programme to advance the College’s role as a leading provider of quality education and skills-training to meet the demands of the twenty-first century and beyond.

To this end, the CFBC will be hosting a two-day (June 26 to 27) Strategic Planning Retreat at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the CFBC main campus, facilitated by Dr. Haldane Davies of the University of the Virgin Islands.

The Retreat’s purpose is to develop the CFBC’s 2014-2019 Strategic Plan, and the process would include setting priorities to improve academic quality and excellence, enhance student development, success and community engagement, create a modern and safe College environment, and promote organizational and human development and financial sustainability and growth.

The CFBC is cognizant that it must invite all stakeholders of the educational institution to contribute to its development in order to achieve these noble goals. Therefore, faculty, staff, students, administrators, alumni and external stakeholders will consult and engage in meaningful and transparent sharing of information as they work together to achieve common institutional goals.

By September 30, a draft of the new strategic plan will be available for discussion across the College community, and by December 31, 2013, a copy of the final draft of the 2014-2019 Strategic Plan will be presented to the CFBC Board of Governors for approval.
