BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – PROPRIETRESS of Bac2myRoots, Empress Yejide Njambi Parry this weekend (Jun. 21-22) will be launching new services to the community in Nevis from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Jews Street in Charlestown.
Yejide said that on Friday and Saturday people could expect lots of information about the different herbs she would have on display. Discounts will be available on all the natural products produced, including natural hair care services and massages.
In addition, consultations on health issues will be given, which include advice on what to eat and what natural treatments to use for healing.
Bac2myRoots is about going back to learn from the past and then moving into the future. It is about restoring and utilising the ancient cultures towards our healing and healthy living.
Yejide has been a ‘loctician’ and natural hair culturist for over 12 years, creating and offering fashion and a variety of natural products such as facial washes, lotions, body conditioners, hair oils and hair products.
Additionally, some of the services offered include, massages, interlocking, twisting and loc styling.
A very excited entrepreneur is ready to introduce to the community some of her new services which include facials, manicure and pedicures along with products from her herbal line. She will also have available healthy snacks, delicious smoothies and local drinks, and not to forget mellow music for the people’s enjoyment.
Bac2myRoots offers holistic health from head to toe, both inside and out. It is about being and keeping healthy, “Naturally”.
When asked how she felt about her business and what she offers to the people, Yejide said, “Oh! This has always been my dream…to have a holistic center where I can minister to people to help them on their way to healthy living, teaching them about different herbs and their healing.
“The Bible said herb is for the healing of the nation, and therefore we are supposed to be using these herbs that can be found around us and not run to the drugstore or pharmacy that offers symptom treatments and not find the root cause of the illness or disease. They just offer a blanket that would cover the symptoms, but the problem is still there.”
Yejide’s aim is to treat the problem and not just the symptoms.
She expressed her love for working with the herbs and meeting people, and said she feels like she made it...And she is definitely ready with the forward movement of her launch.
Bac2myRoots will also have available a Roots line of hair products and accessories, including loc jewelry, pony tail holders, ear cuffs, rings anklets, bracelets and more. It is where the transition begins and the journey continues…
