Archery: a new sport for Nevis

    CHARLESTOWN,Nevis, June 20th, 2013   --  Local coordinator  of the newly  formed Nevis Archery Association, Dane Sandiford has announced that the President of the Barbados Association, will be in Nevis to facilitate a training session  that commences on July 6th and ends on July 10th.

     

     
    The training is open to new members that are interested in learning the sport. According a Press statement issued by Nevis Archery Association, the visiting instructor will conduct the training at a new archery shooting range that is located  in Bath Village.  

    Olympic standards will be observed during the training. During the  London Olympics last year, archery was the most popular sport and the safest sport due to the high standards that govern the sport.

    Trainees will pay a three months probation initiation fee of EC50.  The yearly fee is EC200. Trainees will pay the remaining EC150 dollars after the probation period.  

    The Nevis Archery Association is coordinated by Dane Sandiford who is the President, Robert Byron, Vice-President, Hydia Tyson, Secretary and Pam Barry Treasurer.
