BASSETERRE (22nd June, 2013) – The island is buzzing with excitement and anticipation for the 17th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival, which is just a few days away.
Today, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. the St. Kitts Music Festival & Carib Brewery held a Beer Fest, which was held at the Frigate Bay Lawn (last round-a-bout) with specials on Carib and Stag, lots of fun and exciting games, including beer drinking competitions and the chance to win great prizes. Entertainment will be provided by KC-5 Band and Tombstone International.
Also, this evening is a foam party at Vibes Beach Bar's dubbed Foamulicous, on the Frigate Bay Strip, with free access, free glow jewelry, 3 for EC$10 Stag and Carib beers, free Music Festival giveaways and unlimited vibes.
On Sunday 23rd June the Music Festival family will be soaking up the sun with its Music Festival Beach Warm Up at Dieppe Bay Beach starting at 2 p.m. It's going to be a family afffair with entertainment by Xtortion Sound, Hi-Tension Sound, Freedom Sound, Grand Masters Band and Small Axe Band.
FEST ON D’SQUARE, a new countdown event, will run from June 26 to 28, noon to 2pm daily. The event will showcase our local talents in the performing arts (music, spoken word, dance etc). Aspiring musicians are especially invited as this, which is a great opportunity to showcase the immense talent of our local artists. On Friday 28th June, the Music Festival family will also be collaborating with the Department of Agriculture and promoting their EAT LOCAL DAY in the Independence Square from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Carambola Beach Club in collaboration with the St. Kitts Music Festival presents "White Sands" the St. Kitts Music Festival Cool Down on Sunday 30thJune from 2:00 p.m. Free entrance dressed in white and $5.00 not in white. Reserved seating is $25.00 per person which includes a complimentary welcome cocktail. The National Bank Sponsored White Swimsuit Competition awaits you with entertainment by Jazzique and the Greenhouse Band and DJ Kevy Kev out of Florida.
The St. Kitts Music Festival Promotional Models will be at all events with chances to win tickets to the 2013 St. Kitts Music Festival, which takes place 27th to 29thJune, 2013.
