Dr. Richardson hospitalised following traffic accident

By: Terresa McCall, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DR. LAUGHTON RICHARDSON was warded at the Joseph N. France General Hospital on Sunday evening (Jun. 23) following a traffic accident involving a vehicle he was driving.

The incident – according to information given by the Traffic Department – occurred at about 7:06 in the evening involving motor jeep P5691 owned and driven by Carven Lennon of Lamberts Project, and motorcar P528 owned and driven by Dr. Richardson.

According to information shared by the Department, P5691 was travelling from Frigate Bay to Basseterre along the Frigate Bay Road while P528 was travelling in the opposite direction. It is understood that the latter made an attempt to turn right into Earl Mourne, and it was during that process the collision occurred.

SKNVibes understands that Lennon did not suffer any injury during the crash but Dr. Richardson had to be transported to the JNF General Hospital for treatment.

The last word this publication received indicated that Dr. Richardson was still warded at the medical institution but the extent of his injuries is not yet known.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and this media house understands that investigations into the crash are being made.
