BASSETERRE St. Kitts, July 4th, 2013 -- The Leeward Islands under 19 tournament continued at the ET Willet Park on Tuesday 2nd July with St.Kitts engaging Montserrat.
Monsterrat won the toss and decided to bat. They made 79 all out from 19.1 overs
Dion West top scored with 24.
Jeremiah Louis bowled 6 overs for 17 runs and 4 wickets.
Tristan Hanley (capt) bowled 7.1 overs for 24 runs and 6 wickets.
St.kitts completed the run chase in 17.3 overs with the loss of 4 wickets.
Jeremiah Louis made 37 not out.
Le-Tanio Ferdinand made 19
Oliver Meade bowled 6 overs with 17 runs and 3 wickets
Shawn Tuitt picked up one wicket and conceded 17 runs
The two teams faced off again on Wednesday 3rd July. The results were unavailable up to press time.
