NIP condemns recent political violence and calls for calm

Mr. Glenroy M Blanchette
By: NIP, Press Release

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (6/07/2013): The National Integrity Party (NIP) emphatically condemns the recent political violence and all forms of incitement to violence coming from the political platforms of political parties.

The National Integrity Party calls on all political parties to refrain from encouraging their supporters to take the law into their own hands. We call on all concerned to respect the laws of the land and to be civil in their political campaigns.

We call on the religious organizations to let their voices be heard.  This is not the time to remain silent.

The National Integrity Party firmly believes in the protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of all citizens but at the same time we believe that all citizens have a responsibility to respect the rights of others.

The National Integrity Party hopes that all political parties will demonstrate the capacity to be civil in all of their undertakings.
