BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – INFORMATION reaching SKNVibes suggests that the St. Peter's residence of Speaker of the National Assembly, the Hon. Curtis Martin, was shot at during the early-morning hours of today (July 10).

There isn’t much information that can be offered at this time. However, police sources have confirmed that the incident did take place.

This publication however understands that the incident occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. and the Speaker was at home at the time. But, thankfully, no one was hurt during the criminal act.

According to the Police Press and Public Relations Officer, Inspector Lyndon David, police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred early this morning. But because of its sensitivity, details would only be disseminated following conclusion of the initial investigation.
