ARRESTS
BASSETERRE St. Kitts, July 23rd, 2013 -- Matthew Hudson was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Leaving the Scene of An Accident, which was allegedly committed on 19th July 2013.
Julian Flemming of Newton Ground was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Obstruction, Battery on Police and Resisting Arrest, which were allegedly committed on 19th July 2013 at Newton Ground.
Inon Nias of Greenlands was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Larceny, which was allegedly committed on 18th July 2013.
Nikoyan Greaux of Central Street was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Larceny and Malicious Damage, which were committed on 29th June 2013.
Javon Alford of Willete's Extension, St. Paul Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Threatening Language, which was allegedly committed on 18th July 2013.
COURT CONVICTIONS
St. Christopher Circuit Court
Eartis Harris of Conaree Village was convicted for three counts of Indecent Assault, which were committed on 22nd May 2013. He was sentenced to two (2) years imprisonment on the first count, three (3) years imprisonment on the second count, and four (4) years imprisonment on the third count; sentences are to run consecutively.
Steve Percival of New Road was convicted for the offence of Housebreaking and Larceny, which was committed on 15th January 2013, he was on a suspended sentence of ten (10) months on 14th February 2013 breached his conditions and committed the offence of Housebreaking and Larceny on 2nd May 2013. He was sentenced to ten (10) months imprisonment.
Steve Ward of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Housebreaking and Larceny, which was committed on 14th May 2013 and was placed on a suspended sentence of eight (8) months on 20th June 2013. He breached his conditions by committing the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Carrying Abroad An Offensive Weapon which were committed on 10th July 2013. He was sentenced to eight (8) Months Imprisonment.
Basseterre Magistrate's Court
Rahil Rhan of Ocean Edge, Frigate Bay was convicted for the offences of Driving Without Due Care and Attention, which was committed on 18th July 2013, and Leaving the Scene of An Accident, which was committed on 11th July 2013 at Cayon. He was was cautioned for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention, and fined $200.00 for the offence of Leaving the Scene of An Accident, which is is to be paid in seven (7) days or in default will serve seven (7) days imprisonment with hard labour.
Clive Hanley of Boyd's Village was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention, which was committed on 15th March 2013 on Wellington Road, and fined $300.00 which is to be paid within two (2) months or in default will serve seven (7) days imprisonment with hard labour.
Karan Sethi of Bird Rock was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention which was committed on 22nd April 2013 at Newtown, Bay Road, and fined $300.00 to be paid within one (1) month period or in default will serve seven (7) days imprisonment.
Wayne Lewis of Molyneaux Village was convicted for the offence of Threatening Language, which was committed on 17th July 2013, and sentenced to one (1) month imprisonment with hard labour. Wayne Lewis was also sentenced to three (3) months imprisonment with hard labour for breaching his Bond on which he was placed on 4th March 2013; sentences to run concurrently.
Sheldon Reid of Bird Rock was convicted for the offences of Assault at Trafalgar Village and Armed With An Offensive Weapon, which were committed on 3rd June 2012. He was fined $500.00 for Assault which is to be paid with one (1) month or in default will serve one (1) month imprisonment and fined $500.00 for Armed With An Offensive Weapon which is to be paid within two (2) months or in default will serve one (1) month imprisonment.
A juvenile was convicted for two counts of Battery which were committed on 13th June 2012, and cautioned for both charges.
District "B" Magistrate Court
Akeisha Lynch of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Wounding, which was committed on 29th September 2012 at Dieppe Bay, and placed on a bond of six (6) months and ordered not to interfere with the victim and his girlfriend. If Akeisha Lynch breaks the bond will be ordered to pay a fine of $3000.00.
