July 24th, 2013 -- One Caribbean Television and CBS Puerto Rico are bringing Bajan flavor, sounds, sights and excitement to the world. Joey Stevens, and his famous sidekick “Bob the Parrot” along with television entertainment host, Jeanille Bonterre, will be teaming up to bring all the events of Crop Over to our Caribbean and US audience.
Also catch live reports from Toronto’s “ScotiaBank Caribbean Carnival” (also known as Carabana) as OCTV’s Julie Coates will take part in this cultural explosion! Starting Thursday, August 1 through Monday August 5 during Prime Time (8pm until 11pm), our team will recap the day’s festivities and bring you live reports and highlights of the rich traditions and proud heritage of the Caribbean in Barbados and Toronto. We will also be featuring highlights and backgrounds of Carnival from Saint Lucia, Antigua, Cayman Islands and the Puerto Rico Day Parade!
