BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO young men narrowly escaped being killed in McKnight on Saturday night (Jul. 27) following a drive-by shooting incident.
Reports reaching SKNVibes state that the two men, whose aliases were given as ‘Weenie Man’ and ‘Shadow’, were close to John’s Shop in the vicinity of Fort Thomas Road and Fiennes Avenue when a vehicle approached and shots were fired at them from within.
Details surrounding the incident are sketchy, but it was reportedly said to have occurred sometime after 10:00 p.m.
Reports also state that the men sought cover and escaped unharmed.
Police were summoned to the scene, where they conducted preliminary investigations, but no one was arrested.
When contacted for a comment on the incident, Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David indicated that a press release would soon be disseminated to the media.
