BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - WITH just about a week before the start of the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) Final Four Playoffs, the Association has announced that the Playoffs would have a change in scenery as the matches would be played at the Silver Jubilee Stadium in Bird Rock.
A report on the Football Association’s website stated that “the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association has announced that Finals of the football season is set for the Silver Jubilee Stadium.
“An exciting line-up of teams is poised for the playoffs vying for bragging rights and 2013 Championship title.”
It also stated the starting time for the matches as well as the admission fees.
“Kickoff time for matches will be 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on nights with a double header and 8:00 p.m. on evenings with a single match. Ticket prices start at $10 for grounds, $15 for bleachers and $20 for stands. Season passes are also available at $80 for bleachers and $100 for the stands.”
The SKNFA report also made an announcement about a Fan Day slated for tomorrow (Aug. 2).
“The general public is invited to the Fan Day at Central Service Gas Station (Victoria Road) on Friday from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. where members of the participating teams will be on hand to meet and greet fans and build and celebrate team spirit. Get ready to cheer for your team, get onboard join the fun and celebrate with the victorious team. SKNFA ready, hope you ready too!!!”
The Final Four Playoffs will begin on August 8 with Conaree FC, Hobson Enterprise Garden Hotspurs, SL Hosford’s St. Paul’s and Rams Village Superstars. The best-of-three Finals are set for August 17, 21 and 24.
