Basseterre, St. Kitts - While modern-day backyards display satellite dishes and is bringing in all that is available in mainstream media; Sweet Lime Restaurant and Entertainment Theatre brings you oral history, storytelling, dance and dramatic presentations daily at Porte Zante.
On the 25th November, Ma Pau Inc launched Sweet Lime Restaurant and the very first Entertainment Theatre to ever hit St Kitts.
The opening was complimented by a dynamic cultural show entitled "the meeting of two worlds" to an audience that consisted of 250 patrons… inclusive of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
The Meeting of two Worlds is based on the island of Liamigua {the fertile isle}…. As an English Captain - Thomas Warner- invades the land and takes it over from the existing chief Tegremante, by befriending his wife... Barbie.
Considered better than a Soap Opera… Compelled to entertain…. The Meeting of Two Worlds is one of the most exciting, ecstatic performances you will ever see in local culture.
With a cast consisting of local Sweet Lime restaurant staff and directed by Trinidadian playwright / director – Lylah Persad, the magic of theatre in St Kitts has been reformed after a huge lapse 5 years ago… It’s funny, it’s entertaining and it’s guaranteed to leave you wanting more. ~~Adz:Right~~
