DECOMPOSED BODY FOUND
BASSETERRE St. Kitts, August 7th, 2013 -- Officers of the Stapleton Police Station responded to a report of the discovery of the severely decomposed body in a house at New Road.
Initial investigation revealed that the remains are that of 70 year old Spencer Trotman of New Road, which was discovered by a relative. The body was examined by the District Medical Officer and reported that there was no sign of foul play.
ARRESTS
Jermaine Jules of Davis Road St Paul Village was formally arrested and charged for the Offence of Larceny which was allegedly committed on 31/7/13.
A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Driving Without Insurance and Driving without a valid and unexpired Drivers' Licence, which were allegedly committed at Fig Tree Long Path at about 18:05 hrs on 15/7/13.
COURT CONVICTION
District B Magistrate Court
Chadwick Lennon alias Crammer of Mount Idle, Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Indecent Language which was committed on 20/11/13 at Sandy Point, and fine of $ 400.00 which is to be paid by 16/8/13 or in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with hard Labour.
Ovan Liddie alias "Junie" or "Ovan" of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Failing to Produce Drivers' Licence and Certificate of Insurance, which were committed on 6/3/13, and fine of $100.00 on each charge which are to be paid by 19/8/13 or in default will serve Fourteen (14) days imprisonment for each offence.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
Officers of Old Road Police Station are investigation a traffic accident which occurred along the Island Main Road at Boyd's Village about 09:15 hrs on 03/8/13, which resulted in a seven (7) year old pedestrian transported to the hospital.
