BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 7th 2013 (CUOPM) – Acting Prime Minister the Hon. Marcella Liburd will deliver the feature address and formally declare open a Retreat for Heads of Mission of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The opening ceremony at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort will also feature remarks by St. Kitts and Nevis’ Minister of Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security, Labour, Justice and Legal Affairs, the Hon. Patrice Nisbett and Professor Emeritus at the University of the West Indies, Mr. Norman Girvan.
Several Heads of Missions from the Federation’s embassies, missions, consulates overseas as well as honorary consuls are to attend the two-day retreat which is being held under the theme “St. Kitts and Nevis’ Approach to Global Configuration and Caribbean International Relations.”
