BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A motorcar slammed into a railing along the F.T. Williams Highway after its driver reportedly lost control of it yesterday (Aug. 7) afternoon.

The incident – according to information received from the Traffic Department – took place shortly before 4:00 p.m. and involved P4629 which is owned and was driven by Kelvin Jules of St. Paul’s.

SKNVibes understands that according to circumstances leading to the incident, P4629 was travelling eastward along the eastern portion of the road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with the railing on the seaside of the road.

Jules was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital but he reportedly suffered no injuries as a result of the crash.

The vehicle – however – sustained extensive damage.

Whether or not charges are laid against Jules would depend on the result of investigations into the incident.
