BASSETERRE, St. Kitts-INFORMATION reaching SKNVibes has it that yet another Cayon youth was tragically gunned down early this morning (Dec. 12).

Preliminary investigations by SKNVibes have revealed that a young man, Randy Scott, was shot and killed in his yard just before 6 a.m. this morning.

Scott was said to be in his thirties and lived in Shanty Town, Cunningham Village in Lower Cayon. He worked as a street sweeper in the area and was allegedly on his way to work when he was gunned down by an unknown number of assailants.

One resident from the Cayon area who knew Scott said that “he was the kind of man that would clean your yard and only ask for a drink in return”.

“He never troubled anybody. This thing is getting out of control now,” the source said.

Public Relations Officer for the Royal St. Christopher Police Force, Inspector Cromwell Henry, said that police investigations into the incident are currently ongoing and more information will be revealed later today.

Desroy ‘Shootout’ Walwyn and Trevon ‘Waxy’ Francis, both of Upper Cayon, were less than two weeks ago (Nov. 30) shot to death in Dunns Cottage, Cayon in the vicinity of Henry’s Night Spot, Disco, Bar and Restaurant. Six persons were also injured during that incident.  The Federation’s death toll now stands at 23.
