Davis told SKNVibes that during her 30 plus years in the hairdressing business has worked with the Brono Brothers, Organizer of American Hair Show, and stylists who have worked with Halle Berry and Toni Braxton.

“I laid the foundation of quality hair care and cosmetology in the Federation, almost three decades ago because when I came back from Miami at a very young age I realized that hair dressing in St. Kitts was not done at a professional level, and so, I took the challenge to build this industry and create quality hair care services.”

The native of the soil is a trained and licensed hair technician and is a sterling product of Dudley Cosmetology University Advance Training Academy, North Carolina. Before she returned home, Laverne has worked with some of the greatest celebrity master hair technicians and top distributors of hair care products in the US and Canada, and was well able to hone her skills and build a name for herself.

Glamour Vision of Beauty Care, Laverne’s high-end brainchild, specialises in providing a “professional magnitude of service in visionary beauty care to a diverse market”. The popular salon has attracted hundreds to experience the signature beauty transformation in a clean, spacious and serene setting. 

“I don’t just deliver a hairstyle; I first connect with the client’s personality in order to create a style that suits them and not just some style for an event. I make you into a totally new person.

“I am at the pinnacle of my career and I am maintaining my quality while I attempt to rebuild strength and pride in the local industry.
