BASSETERRE St. Kitts, August 21st 2013 - On August 21, 2013 St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited, National, announced that Ms. Dawne Williams a veteran banking executive, will assume the post of Chief Executive Officer of the Bank effective September 1, 2013. Ms. Williams comes to National with 35 years of domestic and regional experience in banking. This bodes well for National as the Bank stands to benefit from the wealth and depth of her experience in service to its local, regional and international clients.
Ms. Williams, who is a native of St. Kitts & Nevis, held various management level positions at Barclays Bank including Operational Risk Manager, Director of Retail Banking and Director of Business Transformation for the Leeward Islands, the British Virgin Islands and the Netherlands. Most recently, she held the following regional posts at FirstCaribbean International Bank: Director of Retail Banking, Small Business Banking, Domestic Wealth Management, Insurance and Investment Banking. FirstCaribbean International Bank is the product of the merger between Barclays and CIBC.
Ms. Williams, a certified banker, is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania FirstCaribbean Leadership Programme and a member of the UK Institute of Financial Services.
