BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – MEMBERS of the District ‘C’ Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force were summoned to a Rawlins Village house this morning (Aug. 25) to investigate reports that the occupant was inside dead.
Information about the incident remains sketchy.
However, reports reaching SKNVibes suggest that sometime this morning a neighbour realised that an offensive stench was emanating from the house and their queries left them to solicit the attention and assistance of the authorities.
This publication was reliably informed that sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. a report was made to the police and, following investigations, they discovered the partly decomposed body of a male.
The deceased was identified as Rupert Sprouse, who is said to be in his mid-50s and is from the Irishtown area but resided in Nevis.
It is not certain if a post-mortem would be conducted but this publication understands that foul play is not suspected.
