BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A man, said to be over 50 years old, is currently in police custody for allegedly fondling an eight-year-old girl.
According to information reaching this media house, the man is a very popular figure in one of the villages on the western corridor of Basseterre.
It is alleged that he had inserted one of his fingers in a certain part of the child’s anatomy.
The matter was reported to the police and charges are likely to follow at the conclusion of the investigation.
