BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO more lucky LIME customers were yesterday (Dec. 16) added to the list of entrees into the US$1million-dollar draw in the company’s six-week Christmas Promotion.
Cleo Tyson and Sheron Henry, both of St. Kitts, were this week’s lucky channel vendors, each winning EC $500 and the chance to win EC$5000 in the New Year Vendor’s Draw.
Estica Caesar of Upper Cayon was lucky to win an American Airline voucher valued at US $1000, telling SKNVibes, “All I did was top up; winning wasn’t even on my mind! So this came as a big surprise.
But the gift came in just the right time because I am expected to leave the island this week to begin my studies at U.V.I., so this voucher will definitely help me with some of the travel expenses.”
Caesar thanked LIME for the gift and indicated that if she wins the grand prize, she would first repay her student loan, then purchase a house, pay her mother’s mortgage and invest in her children’s education.
VP of Corporate Communications Laverne Caines, in an interview with SKNVibes said customers have begun to show a lot more enthusiasm and informed that as the million-dollar draw nears, more subscribers are topping-up and texting more.
“The word is out now that the million-dollar prize is at stake and if that eludes customers in the second instance then they can bet for the smaller prizes. People are seeing me and are expressing great hope to win the million dollars. There is a lot of excitement as the countdown begins for the million dollar presentation and I am still hopeful that someone from St. Kitts-Nevis would win.”
Caines encouraged all subscribers to be part of the promotion by simply topping up more than EC$20, signing up for or upgrading an existing service, paying bills in full and on time or texting the word “WIN” to shortcode 5463 (LIME).
Next week’s Motorola camcorder and MP3 player are expected to attract equal interest as everyone prepares for the January 2009 million-dollar draw.
