BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - REPORTS reaching SKNVibes last night (Sept. 4) state that a man, whose name was given only as 'South' and said to be a resident of Newtown, was shot somewhere in St. Kitts.
In an effort to confirm the reports, this morning SKNVibes contacted the Police Press and Public Relations Officer, Inspector Lyndon David, who categorically stated that someone was indeed shot but he did not provide details on the incident.
“All I can confirm right now is that someone was shot last night. I am putting some stuff together to send out a press release; the press release should be out by 12:00,” David said.
It is not known what time the shooting incident occurred and where it took place as well as what injuries the victim sustained.
This media house will however provide details on this incident on receipt of the promised press release.
