BASSETERRE St. Kitts, September 8th 2013 - This morning, we woke to the news that President of SPIRIT Seanel Riley was badly injured in a road accident in the early hours of the morning (Sept.8).
SPIRIT has received first-hand reports that at about 2:05AM, Riley was hit by an oncoming car along the Main Road in Half Way Tree. We can confirm that he has sustained serious injuries to his left leg.
We can also confirm that Riley was subsequently rushed to the JNF Hospital and was admitted for early-morning surgery. He is said to be in stable condition.
As more information emerges, SPIRIT has been assured by the police that investigations into the accident are now underway. Anyone with any information that can be helpful to the police, we urge you to contact them at 869-465-2241.
