BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - One individual is currently in police custody assisting with a hit and run investigation which has left one man hospitalised.

Early Sunday morning (Sept. 8) Seanel Riley of The Alley in Sandy Point was struck by a vehicle along the Island Main Road in Halfway Tree and sustained injuries to his left leg.

A Police Press Release issued yesterday (Sept. 9) states that at about 2:05 a.m. on Sunday, Riley "was travelling in his motor car from Sandy Point to Basseterre, he stopped in Half Way Tree in the vicinity of the Water Damp and he got out the vehicle and was struck by a vehicle travelling towards Sandy Point which continued on its journey".

SKNVibes understands that Riley was taken to the JNF General hospital where he underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.
