FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, September 18th 2013 - We take this opportunity to introduce The Omni-Star International Competitions. We are a new international pageant franchise originating out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we have existed in the pageant realm since 2011.
Our mission is to culminate a new dynamism of pageantry and put a special focus on self-development and educational advancement for young women worldwide. In keeping with the organization’s tagline “Culture, Beauty, Purpose” we strive to provide each young lady with an experience she will never forget. This embraces cultural awareness and pride, personal growth and social purpose. In effect, they establish friendships and also build moral and self esteem which help define our program. We are also affiliated with The Miss T.E.E.N. Pageant of Houston, Texas and several other international competitions. We use ourselves as a stepping-stone into the grander scheme of pageants as contestants of our competition go on to compete in these other systems.
Pageants today are the largest source of scholarships made available to women worldwide. In championing our cause, we seek to offer our winner(s) various Educational Scholarship opportunities, Professional training in Media and other industry relevant fields, travel opportunities, and a host of other prizes in addition to a lifetime of memories and unforgettable moments that can only be experienced through a program like this.
The Omni-Star executive consists of three (3) Managing Partners- well established business professionals and all experts in their related fields. They include:
- Lama Gayle-Smith (Chief Executive Officer)
- Clover Broderick-Straker (Chief Financial Officer)
- Noel Falcao Roberts (Chief Operations Officer)
As the momentum behind the pageant continues to grow, the executive team will continue to work assiduously to ensure its absolute success for this year, and the years to come.
Currently, National Directors and contestants are being sought worldwide. National Directors would be responsible for the fair and unbiased selection of a viable delegate who would represent her country at the International Competition forthcoming in February 2014.
