    BRADES, Montserrat, September 24th 2013 – This Wednesday, September 25, 2013, the leaders of Government will meet with members of local youth organisations as part of the commemoration of Youth Week.

     

    According to the Honourable Parliamentary Secretary Jermaine Wade, Government Faces the Youth is one of several key events marking Youth Week, which he hopes to make an annual event. All of the members of the ruling party are scheduled to be in attendance, including the Honourable Premier Reuben Meade.

     

    Other activities throughout the week include a daily quiz on ZJB Radio Montserrat, the launch of the National Youth Ambassador Corps and a meet up with the youth and elderly called “Bridging the Gap on Saturday at the Lookout Community Centre. On Sunday, the Sunrise Productions Spelling Bee will see 13 students from the primary and secondary school, compete in the annual event.

     

    This year’s theme for Caribbean Youth Day, which is on Monday, September 30, is Creativity, Passion & Participation: Youth for a Stronger Caribbean .
