CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – TWO Nevisians were recently added to the list of entries for the LIME US$1M draw in the telecommunications giant’s six-week Christmas Promotion.
Last week, the company’s Marketing Executive of Nevis Branch, Claudette Walwyn, handed over an iPod Nano to Deon Bergan of Pond Hills and a Sony Camcorder to Diedrea Tyson of Taylor’s Pasture as prizes for the fifth week winners of LIME’s six-week Christmas Promotion.
In addition to their prizes, the two lucky winners have also qualified for the US$1M draw in January 2009. Bergan won his prize after an EC$20 top-up while Tyson’s was based on sent text messages.

When asked by Walwyn what they would do should either of them win the US$1M, Bergan, an employee of Nevcon, at first said he had no idea but quickly recanted and informed that he would buy a plot of land and build a house.
Tyson, who is employed at the RBTT Bank, said the US$1M would greatly enhance the clearance of her mortgage and allow her to invest in her children’s college education.
“These are lucky folks. They will enter into the US$1 million draw,” Walwyn said and called on lime customers to text and top-up. “You can be a winner. There is one more week left,” she told customers.
