BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - SHORTLY before 11:00 last night (Sept. 26) at Greenland’s Park, the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris was announced as the Leader of a three-party coalition pushing a Unity concept.
The announcement was made by the Hon. Mark Brantley during his presentation to thousands of citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis on the official launch of the group.
In his presentation, Dr. Harris vowed to work with his colleagues for a better St. Kitts and Nevis.
“St. Kitts and Nevis will never be the same again. To God be the glory, great things He has done and great things we will do.”
He added that Unity is here to stay and claimed that history had been witnessed in Greenlands.
“I thank all the people of St. Kitts and Nevis, the tens of thousands that are bearing witness to history in the making. What they said was impossible to happen...it has happen before your very eyes.”
Harris commended the three parties that make up the Unity Movement and announced the Hon. Mark Brantley and the Hon. Shawn Richards as Deputy Leaders.
