BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE management of SKNVibes.com would like to inform all visitors to the website, who post comments, that it is an offence to post any comment that borders on libel or contains defamatory remark about any individual, group or organisation.
In addition to posting constructive comments that would sensitise management and readers about issues and incidents that did not make the news, the comments section is aimed at encouraging healthy debates amongst contributors on the contents of the particular article under which they share their views.
Contributors were previously warned that they would be banned should they use profane language in their comments and, to date, a large amount of them had suffered the consequences.
It is therefore from this backdrop that management would like to inform readership that not only will contributors be banned if their comments border on libel or contain defamatory remarks, but their identity will be disclosed to the police in the event that legal action is to be taken based on the comment.
