CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – DESPITE the valiant effort by members of the Nevis Fire and Rescue Services, a woman and her four children have lost their Cotton Ground home and all of its contents to a mid-morning fire on Tuesday, December 30.

According to Sergeant Conrad Bertie of the Cotton Ground Police Station, the three-bedroom concrete and wooden apartment was owned by David Nisbett and occupied by Joslyn Wilkinson, an employee of the Four Seasons Resort.

SKNVibes learned that neither Wilkinson nor her children was at home when the fire started, and this information was confirmed by Sergeant Bertie.

“Everything was totally destroyed,” Bertie said. He also informed that the cause of the fire has not yet been established.
