BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A two-vehicle accident that occurred early this morning (Oct.2) involving students from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine had temporarily disrupted traffic flow along the Island’s Main Road in West Farm.
The accident took place sometime after 8:00 a.m. at the junction of a housing development area called Paradise in West Farm, within the vicinity of the school’s parking lot and had involved a white BMW motorcar (PA4748) and a dark green Cherokee jeep (P4066).
Shortly after SKNVibes’ arrival at the scene, an ambulance was observed speedily travelling from the area.
Additionally, it was noticed that PA4728 was at the junction of the Island’s Main Road and the entrance to the parking lot, while the other vehicle was within an area on the eastern wing of the parking lot.
This media house also saw a female, who was involved in the accident, being given a plastic bag with ice by an employee of the school, which she placed on one of her knees.
She did not appear to have any physical bruises and was interviewed by a member of the Traffic Department and security personnel of the school.
This media house was denied an interview with that young lady because of the police’s investigation process at the time.
One student, who obviously was not involved in the collision, was overheard telling a senior employee of the school that “we heard bam…” in relation to the collision.
