Basseterre, St. Kitts (October 4, 2013) – Digicel St. Kitts & Nevis is the proud sponsor of two extraordinary events both scheduled for Saturday, October 5th 2013. The first event is the exclusive telecommunications sponsorship of the 4th annual 2K Walk and 5K Run at Frigate Bay.
All proceeds for this event will be directly towards the daily maintenance and needs of the St. Christopher’s Children Home. Digicel has endorsed this year’s Walk/Run with a cash sponsorship of EC$10,000.
This highly-anticipated family event is scheduled to start at the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club and will begin at 3:00 pm. Registration packages include event participation, commemorative shirt and bag and a barbeque lunch provided by St. Kitts Marriott Hotel. Tickets for this event can be purchased at the Digicel Store in the Circus and free transportation will be provided from KFC and the Fire Station from 2:00PM.
Later that very evening, the Digicel Team will be unwinding at the Twilight Events Center in Lime Kiln to share in the good vibes at the Members Only annual party dubbed “Glow Fete 2”. The event is an all-white affair and will feature sounds from a range of popular DJ’S including Wett Dutt and EK from Freedom FM.
During the Glow Fete party, many Digicel prizes will be given away including free credit and a brand new BlackBerry handset with free 4G Data. Tickets for Glow Fete 2 are available at Plush Accessories and free tickets can also be won on Digicel St Kitts and Nevis’ Facebook page.
Digicel will continue to partner with meaningful organizations and to endorse events which aim to give patrons the opportunity to keep healthy and to enjoy the company of family and friends.
