BASSETERRE St. Kitts, October 9th, 2013 -- The Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park Society shall be making a minor increase in the entrance fees to the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park as of Friday 11 October 2013.
The Society has embarked on a number of initiatives which includes:
Continued conservation of the Fortress in conformity to UNESCO standards and guidelines
Improving the overall visitor experience
Increasing the community outreach programme
These initiatives have also brought us several recent accolades but they have significantly added to the cost of operating the Fortress.
In light of this the Society has made the following modest adjustments to the entrance fees:
Adults (foreign) USD $10.00 or XCD $27.00
Children(foreign) USD $5.00 or XCD $13.00
Adults (local) XCD $6.00
Children(local) XCD$3.00
