Robert Pinard obtains Masters Degree

Robert Pinard
Press Release

October 25th, 2013  --  We are pleased to announce that Robert Francis Pinard of Frigate Bay has successfully completed the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA), from the University of Phoenix in the U.S.A., with concentrations in Business and Finance.

Robert is a former student of the Convent High School and Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in Basseterre. After graduating from CFBC, he pursued undergraduate studies at St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2008.

Before attending St. Mary’s, Robert was employed at the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank from May 2002 to August 2004, as a Customer Service and Deposit Operations Clerk. From St. Mary’s he moved to New York and was recruited as a Stockbroker Trainee with Myers Associates, successfully completing the Stockbroker Training Program in December 2008.

In 2009, he was hired by First Midwest Securities Inc. in New York as an Investment Consultant and in that capacity built a network of clients, providing them with knowledgeable advice and sound recommendations on their investments objectives.

In 2010, Robert accepted a position with TD Bank in New York where he currently holds the title of Assistant Manager at a midtown branch, with responsibilities for Business Development and Service.  His immediate plan is to remain with TD Bank for the foreseeable future and to advance his career with that institution.

Robert is the son of Evita and Hugh Pinard, former Country Head of Royal Bank of Canada in St. Kitts, and Charter President of the Eastern Caribbean Bankers Association. We take this opportunity to extend our sincere congratulations to Robert on his accomplishments, and to wish him continued success in his future endeavours.
