Team UNITY Worshipped at Mount Carmel Baptist

    Basseterre, St.Kitts (Team UNITY Communications):-Members of Team Unity were among hundreds of worshippers at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church at Bourryeau, on Sunday for what was dubbed Friendship Day.

     

    Dr.  The Honourable Timothy Harris told the large audience that, “Team Unity has acknowledged, the awesome power of God.  We are very mindful of the great country we wish to build and we know that such greatness would only come with the help of God.”
     
    Dr. Harris introduced the other visiting members of Team Unity namely The Honourable Eugene Hamilton, member for St Christopher Eight, Jonel Powell, Unity Candidate for Central Basseterre, and Ian Patches Liburd, Unity candidate for East Basseterre.  
     
    Other ranking members of the Executive of the Unity Movement formed party of the congregation. Unity women made two beautiful floral arrangements for the church and two vases were presented to the church by Unity Leader Dr.    The Honourable Timothy Harris.
     
    Five members of the church competed for prizes based on the number of friends that they succeeded in getting to church.  Maureen Whyte was best performing with 100 persons attributing their attendance to her.  Sheila Clarke was adjudged in second place with ninety three.   Beautiful prizes were handed to the winners.
     
    A dynamic and powerful sermon was delivered by Bishop Henville  entitled, “Standing Firm in the Face of Adversity.”   Sunday’s Friendship Day was a memorable event from all accounts.
