St. Paul’s woman on larceny charge
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - JERMAINE IQUBAL NILES, the man for whom police had issued a wanted bulletin on Thursday (Oct. 24), turned himself in to the lawmen.
A police release stated that after surrendering himself, Niles, who is also known as ‘Benji’, was formally arrested and charged for wounding and obstruction; offences he allegedly committed on July 1, 2013.
It also stated that the New Road Housing resident had decided to turn himself in to the police the day after (Oct. 25) he saw the wanted poster in the media.
For their continued collaboration with the police in the fight against crime, Commissioner of Police Dr. Celvin ‘CG’ Walwyn took the opportunity to thank the local media houses for “their collaboration and assistance in this matter”.
Meanwhile, Karisa Carty of Lovers Lane, St. Paul’s Village was arrested and charged for larceny, which she allegedly committed between Wednesday, September 25 and Saturday, October 26 of this year in the village where she resides.
