BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has ruled out foul play as having contributed to the death of a man who was found at the St. Kitts Marriott's Sewage Plant earlier today (Nov. 5).

The man - according to information SKNVibes received - was discovered on the premises at the side of an incomplete concrete structure, naked and lying on a piece of plyboard.

A press release - headlined "No Foul Play Suspected In Case of Man Found Dead" - issued by Commissioner of Police Celvin 'CG' Walwyn identifies the deceased as Bryan Liddie of Haynes Smith Village and describes him as "a transient who would collect golf balls and sell them back to tourists on the golf course".

The release further disclosed that "according to Liddie’s family he was a transient who frequented the golf course area. Workers in the area said it was not uncommon to see him place his laundry to dry on the golf course. In a sense, he lived in the area, so it was not unusual for him to be found there".

SKNVibes was present when the District Medical Officer (DMO) Dr. Mervin Laws visited the scene and pronounced the man dead.

Additionally - as informed by the police communiqué - the DMO "found no signs of foul play" but "recommended that an autopsy be performed to determine the exact cause of death".
