Police report

~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts - Marvin Lewis of Pump Road was on 7th January 2009 arrested and charged for the offence of malicious damage. Beverson Mills of Barnaby Village was also arrested and charged on 7th January 2009 for the offence of malicious damage.

Pratup Suich of Jessup Village was arrested and charged on 8th January 2009 for the offence of wounding. Stafford Thomas of Fort Thomas Road was on 9th January 2009 arrested and charged for the offence of simple larceny. The offence was committed on 31st December 2008.

Kareem Mathis of Middle Island was on 9th January 2009 arrested and charged for the offence of possession of cannabis after he was stopped and searched by Police and a portion of drugs was found on him.

Kevaughn David of Mount Idle was also arrested and charged for the offence of armed with an offensive weapon on 9th January 2009 after he too was stopped and searched and a machete was found on him.

A 17 year old juvenile from Molyneaux was arrested and charged on 9th January 2009 for the offence of larceny of a pedal bike, an offence that was committed on 8th January 2009. 

Roger Meyers of Bath Village was on 9th January 2009 arrested and charged for the offence of possession of cannabis.

Kenrick Thomas of Soho Village was arrested and charged on 10th January 2009 for the offence of simple larceny. The offence was committed on 31st December 2008.

A 17 year old juvenile from Newcastle was on 10th January 2009 arrested and charged for the offences of possession of cannabis, carrying abroad offensive weapon battery on police and resisting arrest. The offences were committed on 9th January 2009.

Kwesi Moses of Upper Monkey Hill was arrested and charged on 11th January 2009 for the offence of rape, committed on 7th July 2008.

Wendell Peets of Durant Avenue was on 13th January 2009 arrested and charged for forgery, an offence that was committed on 10th January 2009. 

Denver Fyfield of Stapleton Village was on 14th January 2009 arrested and charged for the offence of obstruction.

A 16 year old from St. Paul’s Village was arrested and charged on 15th January 2009 for the offence of wounding.

DRUGS FOUND
Twenty four marijuana plants were found growing an open parcel of land in Maynard’s Ground, Gingerland, on 9th January 2009 by Police during a routine patrol. The plants, which ranged in height from seedlings to two feet, were uprooted and taken into custody. No one was held accountable for the find.

PATROL CONDUCTED STOP AND SEARCH

Police conducted routine stop and search operations on 14th January 2009 in the areas of McKnight, Monkey Hill, Dorset Village, Port Zante, Frigate Bay and other areas of Basseterre and a total of 18 individuals were stopped and searched for illegal drugs, arms and ammunitions but nothing was found.
