After being dormant for over five years, organizers are pleased to revive this year's extravaganza in their efforts to complement what is expected to be a spectacular Sugar Mas 42 (St.Kitts-Nevis National Carnival).

The show will be hosted by Sweet Sister Sensia and Emcee Bogle. Tarrus Riley, who will be backed by his Black Soil Band, is currently on tour with renowned Jamaican saxophone specialist, Dean Fraser who is schedule to perform on the show as well. Chairperson of the Sugar Mas Marketing Sub-Committee, Diego Spanner, stated that the idea behind the event is to boost the experience of the Sugar Mas.

He highlighted that the National Carnival is one which attracts a multi-cultural blend of people and so the return of the International Night is welcomed by many people. Spanner said that it is intended that the artistes for the International Night will change each year as the Committee works steadfastly to make the event a household name in the Federation.

Chairman of the National Carnival Committee, Sylvester Anthony first made the announcement of the return of the International Night during the launch of Sugar Mas at a ceremony held at Palms Court Gardens last Saturday (November 9th). He has expressed pleasure that the event could once again be included on the Sugar Mas calendar and is expecting that the event will remain a permanent fixture on the carnival calendar.
