BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Traffic Department of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is making investigations into an incident where a vehicle reversed into a pedestrian on one of Basseterre’s main thoroughfares.

The incident – according to information released by the Traffic Department – transpired yesterday (Nov. 19) at about 10:40 a.m. on Fort Street.

SKNVibes understands that motor jeep PA9855 – owned and driven by Patrick Eyehorn – was reversing on the eastern side of Fort Street in the vicinity of Burger Supreme when it collided with a female pedestrian.

No personal injuries were sustained as a result of the incident and this media house was told by a member of the Traffic Department that Eyehorn was served with a notice of intended prosecution.

Information gleaned by this publication suggests that the pedestrian in question is with child; however, that remains to be substantiated.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
