The new bill has a simpler layout that will make it easier for customers to read and understand.
The new bill which is part of a complete upgrade to the Customer Information System of SKELEC will give you, our customers, a much more easier to read and understand bill format.
See how much your monthly charge is, plus updated monthly balance if there is one.
If you have an arrangement with balance owing, prior to SKELEC, (SKED) then you will be able to see the amount owed to SKELEC and that owed to SKED.
Listed clearly on the bill are:
- Customer name and type (domestic, commercial, organisation etc)
- Billing month
- Billing period
- Read date
- Payment made (in month of billing period)
- Fuel Variation Cost - previously known as the Fuel Surcharge
- Amount owed to SKED (St. Kitts Electricity Department)
- Any credits applied to your account
- Energy Savings (SIDF Subsidy or any other Energy Savings programs (alternative energy rebates)
- Delinquent date this is your bill due date, will also show the amount due but the due date.
- Monthly balance (see how much is owed for that billing month)
- Personal Message Centre ( view any personal message sent to the account holder
