CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - A man is in critical condition at the Alexandra Hospital after a mid-morning accident at Long Point, Nevis. 

Jefferson Wilkinson of Bath Village was taken to the hospital after he lost control of his truck and ran off the road, hitting a wall.
He is said to be in his 50s and the truck is owned by Williams Quarry.

According to police, the accident occurred just before 9.00 a.m. and resulted in extensive damage to the truck.
